Digital transformations don’t just have a profound effect on organisations’ internal processes and external offerings, they have a massive impact on the people within businesses.
CIOs’ change strategies can create a lot uncertainty and resistance within an organisation. What’s more, finding and attracting the right skills and characters needed for a digital transformation project is extremely difficult in today’s market place.
Adam, who has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience and is ranked in the CIO Top 100, will be outlining his approach to managing his digital team, sharing tips on finding the best people, and explaining how to build a disruptive IT department.
Over the last three years, Adam has worked as Regional CIO and CTO for Eurasia and Africa at Coca Cola. Before that he worked as IT Director – Service Excellence at GE Capital, building a reputation as a robust, direct, and keen strategist, that sees possibilities in every situation and acts quickly on those opportunities.
His key accomplishments include; reducing cycle time on product claims processing by over 50%, ensuring compliance with new EU legislation across 7000 product variants, and delivering a new operational capability and system solution in less than 18 months, and delivering a 10% reduction in FTE and a successful internal audit in just seven months.
