IT recruitment agency improves candidate care ratings 3 years in a row
IT recruitment agency Crimson improved the quality of its candidate care for the third consecutive year in 2018.
Crimson surveyed all the permanent and contract candidates it had placed in 2017 in February 2018 and discovered that its standards of candidate care had risen again over the past 12 months.
The survey results revealed that the IT recruitment specialist’s overall Net Promoter Score (NPS) had increased from 57+ to 68+. This means more of Crimson’s candidates are likely to recommend the IT recruiter than ever before. Its score in 2016 was 55+.
NPS is an internationally recognised tool used to measure customer satisfaction. More than two thirds of Fortune 1000 companies use the metric.
Despite recruitment industry benchmarks being unavailable in the UK, the US recruitment industry average NPS benchmark for talent satisfaction in 2018 was 21+, a three-point drop from the average in 2016. This means that whilst other recruitment agencies have struggled to maintain candidate satisfaction, Crimson has managed to increase it.
Louise Clarke, Head of Recruitment Sales at Crimson, said: “Over the last 12 months, our IT recruitment consultants have worked hard to look after our candidates. We regularly remind all staff, at every level, to support our candidates in the build-up to big interviews and during their on-going career. We also have interview advice and CV tips free to download on our website and have increased the number of candidate workshops and networking events available for our prospects and placed candidates. “I am delighted with the results of this survey and would like to congratulate the whole recruitment team. It’s their enthusiasm and effort that has really made the difference for our candidates.”
Almost 250 of Crimson’s contract and permanent candidates were surveyed. 88% of those that responded said Crimson was a valued advisor, a 1% growth on 2017. 85% said that Crimson understood their career priorities, 88% said Crimson kept them informed, a 3% growth on 2017, and 88% said the IT recruitment agency delivered what was promised, 3% growth.
One candidate said: “Crimson has a one-to-one personal touch that no other agency that I’ve had the pleasure of even comes close to!!”
Another added: “Exceptionally professional, excellent service, constant updates, and understands interim / client requirements.”
Finally, one said: “I’ve worked with Crimson in different ways for many years and I’ve always been impressed.”
